How we got here

McGean is a privately held specialty chemical company headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, with operations across the world — a global leader in chemical technology for aviation maintenance and a trusted supplier of specialty maritime chemicals.

Aviation chemistry
McGean begins formulating industrial chemistry in Cleveland, Ohio. Its Cee-Bee Laboratories division becomes a pioneer in aircraft cleaning and surface treatment.
